MyRasan is an online ration store built to make buying everyday grocery essentials simple, honest, and convenient for households in the neighbourhoods we serve. We deliver staples like rice, wheat flour (atta), pulses (dal), cooking oil & ghee, sugar, salt, and spices right to your door, with every order reviewed and confirmed personally over WhatsApp.

What we do

We bring the trust of your local ration and kirana shop online. You browse a curated catalogue of daily essentials, add what you need to your cart, and place an order in a few taps. Instead of forcing an impersonal checkout, your order is handed off to our WhatsApp Business number, where we confirm availability, delivery timing, and payment with you directly, just like talking to your trusted local shopkeeper.

Why we started

Getting monthly ration should not mean carrying heavy bags home or standing in queues. MyRasan was created to give families a reliable, fairly-priced way to order household essentials online and have them delivered locally, while keeping the personal, conversational service people value.

We are in a pilot phase

MyRasan is currently running as a limited pilot. We expect the pilot to run for about twelve months, up to 31 July 2027. During this period we are deliberately serving a small number of localities in and around Sindri and Dhanbad so we can properly understand what households in each area need, how long deliveries actually take, and where we fall short. What we learn is what lets us make the service genuinely reliable before we open it up more widely.

Being honest about what that means for you: our catalogue, serviceable areas, delivery windows, and charges are limited during the pilot and may change as we learn. Any change only ever applies to future orders, never to an order you have already confirmed.

We are also, during this period, in the process of obtaining the registrations, licences, and permissions that apply to a food retail and home-delivery business of this nature and scale, including food safety registration or licensing, shops and establishments registration, and the applicable municipal and tax registrations. We make no claim to hold any licence that has not yet been issued to us, and we will publish each number on this site as soon as it is. Where we deliver

We currently deliver within selected serviceable pincodes. When you enter your pincode on the site, we instantly tell you whether we deliver to your area and what the delivery charges (if any) are. We are steadily expanding to more localities.
